Do You Ever Look In The Mirror

Network and internet marketers: don't you think we should STOP trying to market our companies, products, services and compensation plans as though they are the best or better than anyone else's.  At least, until we understand success in our respective businesses is primarily dependent upon the professionalism, relationship and trust we are able to build with our prospects.

And who are are our prospects anyway?  Really, are they every family member and person we come across in our travels? I am learning they are not.  It has taken me a long time to realize that there are a whole lot of people who don't give a DARN, really D_MN about my business propositions.  That has been a hard pill to swallow.  But I have swallowed it, and I am now interested in people who are interested in me because I am able to contribute to them in some way that makes sense to them from the outset of our meeting; not potentially interested after I attempt to cram down my company, product, or compensation plan on them.

Wow! How enjoyable my business has become based on this new way for me of doing my business.
