It just came to mine that many many people, including myself on occasion, will listen to other people in making decisions in our life. This seems to be particularly true when we are evaluating or reviewing business and learning opportunities for which we have not experienced for ourselves.
Take my business as an example. As an independent contractor with Ambit Energy, I have noticed when people are presented with the opportunity they will speak with people who have not had any experience with the business and in most instances have not even heard of it to begin their assessment. First, I want to note that 99% of the time, the person does not know enough to explain the business anywhere near its real or most accurate description. Secondly, the people they generally speak with are those that have never experienced the business and in many instances have never heard of it. What may be going in some instances is people are looking for an unbiased review, at least they we tell you that. But I think most offten it is something else. Rather than seeking reviews to learn the things that make the business good many look for the things that do not work with the business.
There are many, many network marketing business opportunities available today and new ones are popping up seemingly daily as well. So what is the solution? How does one due their due diligence. One can start their review by looking at reputable third resources like business magazines, the direct selling association and even the Better Business Bureau perhaps. I am sure there are other third-party sources and additional aspects of a business people should consider. Please feel free to use the comment section to this post to list additional ways to review business opportunities.
In the meantime, for those interested in the Ambit Energy business, I suggest you see what the company officials and other business associates independently have to say about the business by clicking on the Ambit Energy link. Yes, I grant you these are biased reviews but that does not mean they are not accurate.
