I learned tonight on a business leadership call that "posturing," which the top earner in my company described as having belief in yourself, creating an "air" where people want to join you in your business is the key to success in my business. I would add confidence and say that it shadows all other elements of the business, at least at the initial outset of introducing one's product or service.
The discussion reminded me of something I always use to say; and that is, that people will buy anything if it is marketed correctly. That may not be entirely correct unless posturing exudes the marketing effort and activity.
I looked up the word posturing in Webster and was not happy with the latter part of the definition for purposes of this discussion. Webster defines posturing as follows: 1: to assume a posture; especially : to strike a pose for effect 2: to assume an artificial or pretended attitude.
I definitely will begin to take on posturing my business opportunity as described by the top earner of my company and defined by Webster with the exception of the "artificial or pretended" part. My effort will be genuine and practiced with integrity.
