This Post Is Going To Get Me In Trouble

That notwithstanding, the following conclusion is defensible because they are based on my personal experiences after five years in network marketing and they are mine.

Most self-proclaimed mentors and companies that sell or even offer for free, mentoring and marketing systems to train and educate network marketers to better their businesses fall into two categories.

1.      They have a vested interest in their men-tees joining their primary network marketing company as a business partner or customer. (I am not including the person who occasionally supports or mentors another because I believe most people are more than willing to do so without personal gain.)

Or

2.      They have made all the money they want in their primary business and have chosen to devote themselves to “giving back" for some altruistic purpose(s).

I am completely OK with the first category when the mentor or person offering the mentoring or marketing system is “up front” and honest about his or her vested interest.

I am also OK with the second category except I would note that there are only a small proportion of mentors and companies that would fall into that category.

My purpose in writing this post is to heighten the awareness of these scenarios for the benefit of all.
